首届全球铁路创客大赛即将推出，该比赛主要面向大学和铁路企业。全球铁路创客大赛亚太地区比赛将由西南交通大学主办。

比赛主题：疫情之下，铁路行业如何应对以保持活力？

本届比赛为参赛者和铁路爱好者提供了想象未来的机会，并为铁路运营商如何应对疫情开发解决方案。比赛将设置各类主题和活动，包括：培训、破冰活动、交流与沟通环节等。

亚太地区的比赛将于2021年12月举行，国际层面的决赛将于 2022年5月在莫斯科举行的“世界铁路培训、人才与发展大会 (WCRT)” 期间举行。

As part of a series of attractive activities targeted at universities and railway enterprises, the UIC is launching its first global Rail Hackathon. The Asia-Pacific region Hackathon is organized by Southwest Jiaotong University.

Theme: How can railways be resilient in the face of pandemics?

This Hackathon offers participants and rail enthusiasts the opportunity to imagine the future and develop solutions for railway operators to better confront with pandemic situations. The hackathon will include various themes and activities, such as: training, customer service on board and in stations, maintenance workshops, management of emergency circumstances, communication and information, etc.

The Asia-Pacific regional “competition” will be held in December, 2021, with a final contest at international level in May 2022, in the frame of the World Congress about Rail Training, Talent and Development (WCRT) in Moscow.
